If you are in the US, the movies you bought in the iTunes Store are in iCloud. Home videos and personal videos are not supported by cloud yet. Apple is said to present some new iCloud features including a photo-sharing service and something like photostream for videos you recorded with ios and mac devices.

It should be pointed out that not all movies are in the cloud after purchasing. A few studios are holding out and those movies state that they will not be in the cloud after purchase.

Does anyone know how to store TV shows onto iCloud instead of the ipad? im trying to move my TV shows from the ipad to icloud so it will free up all the storage I have on my new ipad. Any help would be great! Thanks.

If you purchase them on the iPad it will download to your device.
You don't store them in iCloud, if you are in the US then compatible titles will simply be available to reload from the cloud after purchase. However, as stated above not all titles will be available so it's best to look in the description and backup your media. You can sync them to your computer and backup as part of your regular maintenence.

Ditto to this request! In case Apple styaff read these things posts, I think customers would prefer buying iCloud space and storing everything there to access easily when they need it rather than having it on their iPad taking up space. Of course this eats into the business model of creating different sized capacity iPads (16, 32, 64 Go) a bit, but goes into a BM of having customers purchase cloud storage, which is really the direction of the future for storage.
for example, just because I may have bought 100 movies, I may only want five on my iPad at a given time due to capacity or simply due to not cluttering up my visual space (simplicity in picking what I want to view). Hopefully they'll go in this direction (after the battle with movie rights, etc.)
