After months of using Messages without incident, I'm suddenly unable to successfly transfer a photo via iMessage.

I've tried sending different photos to different iMessage accounts (both phone numbers and email address) but the file transfer window continues to show "Zero KB of xx KB" transfered. It will appear to be loading but suddenly stop not not transfer.

The photo appears in the chat window but without the telltale "Delievered" message.

I've tried logging in/out of my iMessages account, restarting Messages, starting a new message window, etc. with no avail.

I can send photos via iMessages on my ipod on the same network, and I'm receiving texts just fine, so I'm not sure it's a network issue.

Any ideas?

    Hi,

Do the pictures sent from the iPod sync to the Messages beta ?

    HI,

I am seeing a range of Posts about iMessages and FaceTime (mostly registration) that would seem to relate to server issues with Apple IDs being used with these Apps.

I do not seem to be having issues myself.

As the date for Mountain Lion approaches we may see more of this.

iMessage is not working on 3 of 4 of my devices. Beginning earlier today, Messages on my iMac, MacBook Pro, and iPad do not work. iMessage is somewhat functional on my iPhone. Plain text seems to go through, but any sort of multimedia will be stuck on "Sending..."

On my iMac, after noticing the problem, I tried to reactivate iMessage by signing out. I have been trying for hours to sign in, but the server cannot authenticate. Same goes for Facetime.

I'm still signed in to iMessage on my other devices. However, no contact is resolvable as a valid iMessage recipient. Also, none of my sent iMessages from my phone appear on the other devices as they normally do. (I use my e-mail as the return address.)

    HI,

I am retracting my statement on not having issues myself.

One post referred to sending pics so I sent my wife a pic and she did not (and has not ) receive (d) it.

It also has not synced with my iPhone.

Sending a text with no picture appears to work.

I am trying with a smaller pic (for speed mainly)

Texting between Messages beta and the my iPhone works.

    Pics don't appear to work
