Q: how do i move contacts from my sd card to my macbook?

i had contacts on an old phone that doesnt have an easily accesible sim but i have all my contacts on my sd card. i want to put them on my macbook and transfer them to my iphone that way ill have them on my computer in case i ever get a new phone
