Jul 26, 2012 10:00 AM in response to steph8966by planb77,What have you tried in terms of troubleshooting so far? Has the iPod ever been able to successfully sync with this PC and iTunes before or is this the first time you are connecting it?
I would first make sure you are plugging the iPod into a high powered USB 2.0 port directly on your PC and NOT through a HUB. If possible, use a different USB sync cable to rule out a damaged/faulty cable as well.
Is the Enable Disk Use option ticked from under the iPod's Summary tab in iTunes?
