Q: Changing iTunes language

In my Korean version of iTunes, there is no option on the "general" tab to change languages. Is the help article out of date?

You should find the relevant option towards the bottom of the dialog box.

Thanks, but my preferences/general menu looks different. There's nothing below the "install updates automatically" check box.

I've been looking for a place to force a download of an English-only version of iTunes, but haven't found one. They all appear to be multilingual, automatically install Korean because I have a Korean version of Windows, and won't let me switch.

For what it's worth, the Korean language help page has the same instructions about navigating to this menu to change languages. This is iTunes 10.6.

Weird, I just managed to change iTunes into Korean & back again. I don't suppose you can temporarily change your regional settings into English before installing iTunes. There is probably a .plist hack that would change the language (iTunes doesn't appear to use the registry much) but if so, I can't find it.
