This one is for Apple. They don't seem to understand that kids need supervision when they are young so we made sure our kids didn't have their own accounts, and we helped them be wise with their purchases, linked to my credit card, and iCloud to back them all up.

My son now is old enough to have his own apple Id and I don't want my iCloud riddled with his apps, music, videos etc. so I want to transfer his stuff to a new account for him.

Why is this not possible? He shouldnt have to pay, if this was the days of CDs and DVDs, or LPs then I could just hand them to him and say here son their yours, he wouldn't have to pay for them again, however after reading through many posts I cannot find any way to transfers them. I don't want them at all,not in my storage and I do not want access to them, but he does, and he should be able to have them, without repaying for them.

This is ridiculous, we should be able to pass them on to our kids, they want them, and we don't they are old enough now, but weren't earlier. So how will apple deal with this it is our property we paid for it. We should be able to give it away if we want to.

This is something apple will have to fix and soon, because there are a lot of young teens out there who have grown up under their parents accounts who will soon be adults and will be in the same boat as us, and then they will be parents doing the same with their kids, so it needs to be addressed and NOW.

I am hoping more parents will post here and we can get apple to hear us.
