Mac OS XWhat year is your MacBook Pro? Before 2010, I believe, most MBPs came with an ExpressCard slot. Those later came with the SD slot and it's just to the left, on the side of the left palmrest. And on the Retina display models, it's on the right hand side.
Good luck,
Clinton

Jul 29, 2012 4:46 AM in response to clintonfrombirminghamby RachAHall,Bought it in March. Think I've found it.
Fits micro cards? Rather than camera sized ones.
Am I right?
Thanks for all the help.

Jul 29, 2012 4:54 AM in response to wjostenby RachAHall,Thanks. Mine is a 8GB Scandisk memory card and if it's the slot at the front; to the right of the track pad then it's too big.

Mac OS XYou might have one of the 'micro' cards that needs a standard SD adapter - I have a 4GB of one of those in my phone, but it came with an adapter. My camera SD cards are standard size and they fit right into the card reader and show up on my desktop.
Look for an adapter on Amazon.
Good luck,

Jul 29, 2012 5:57 AM in response to sigby RachAHall,I guess you should always read the manual!!
So in a nutshell it doesn't have anywhere to put in a memory card. I have a to get a card reader and plug it in. Really surprised me.
Thanks everyone. Lesson learnt.
