Jul 30, 2012 8:03 AM in response to Softbaaaall15by planb77,How do you know somebody hacked your actual iPod? I have never heard of that happening to anybody, especially if you haven't jailbroken the device. Are you sure they didn't just hack a specific account you may have used or accessed on the device such as your Apple ID or email?

Jul 30, 2012 8:47 AM in response to Softbaaaall15by planb77,Again, I have never heard of anybody actually being able to do that especially an iPod Touch as it doesn't have a constant network connection.
How do you know somebody hacked your account? What it is leading you to believe somebody has hacked one of your accounts? Just looking for a little detail and clarififcation.

Jul 30, 2012 9:01 AM in response to Softbaaaall15by Michael Black,Do you have a passcode lock on the device? And does or could anyone else have physical access to it (while you are out, or sleeping, for example)?
For what you are alleging, someone would really need to have physical access to the device, and it would need to be unsecured (no passcode lock) so they could get into it.

Jul 30, 2012 9:52 AM in response to Softbaaaall15by planb77,A message from somebody you know or somebody you don't know? I agree with Michael though. This isn't possible unless somebody has physical access to your device.

Jul 26, 2016 1:13 AM in response to ErnieJobsby lllaass,Your Apple ID account was hacked. Likely because of weak password or readily know security questions.
I would make sure you have good security questions and change and make strong passwords for your Apple ID and all email accounts associated with your ID so they can't readily reset your password.

Jul 26, 2016 1:20 AM in response to Softbaaaall15by lllaass,If Continuity is set up on a Mac using the same ID, Safari sites visited on the iPod will/can be shown on the Mac.
Use Continuity to connect your iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, and Mac - Apple Support
Seems like you Apple ID account was hacked..
Make sure you have strong security questions that can't be readily found (your mother's maiden name is NOT good).
Make sure that you have strong passwords and security questions for the email accounts associated with your ID so they can't hack into them to gain control of your Apple ID.
