Q: I only have 7 apps on my phone but there is no available usage space. Why is this?

I've deleted all the apps that I can but I still do not have any available usage space. I have a few videos from the camera but that shouldn't take up all my space. I purchased this phone so that I can take videos and pictures of my baby but the piece of crap isn't working!!

iPhone 4S, iOS 5.1

Connect the phone to your computer, click on its name in iTunes, and you will see a bar at the bottom of the right panel showing how your memory is being used. You can also see what memory your apps are using. See this tip: How to find the actual App Size with iOS 5
