TS1702 I am trying to update my apps on my IPad and cannot connect to iTunes store?

I am just trying to update the apps on my IPad just like I always do and get can not connect to ITunes store?? Anybody have any suggestions? I have tried rebooting my IPad and I also just tried to update apps on my iPhone with no luck either!

iPad (3rd gen) Wi-Fi, iOS 5.1.1
