Q: Administrator user changes to standard and I can't log in as root to fix it
My admin account has changed to standard. So there are no admins on my Mac OS X 10.5.8.
I got to step 5 from this article: http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1278, but there is no "other" option so I cannot log in as root. I have tried enabling the root account following this article: http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1528, but that also requires admin login.
Any ideas?
Thanks
MacBook Pro, Mac OS X (10.5.8)
