I see this problem too and the activity monitor shows that my Macbook Pro keeps itself busy with contniously generating crash reports although overall the system seems too work (apart from running hot and draining battery).

Please post on this common thread.
Forbes has picked this up and the more people we see posting, I think the more attention we might get from Apple..

If you have a MBA 2011 or any of the new 2012 portables with an SSD you have Power Nap. If you do have Power Nap, be sure to open the Energy control panel and turn it off while on battery. During testing I found that Power Nap, because it wakes up the computer every hour to look for updates etc, drains the battery about twice as fast as when it is turned off. I have my computer configured to keep Power Nap active when it is plugged in only.

I recently wrote a diagnostic tool to check things like this. Download EtreCheck from http://www.etresoft.com/download/EtreCheck.zip, run it, and paste the results here.
Disclaimer: Although EtreCheck is free, there are other links on my site that could give me some form of compensation, financial or otherwise.

No doubt about it.....ML is draining the life out of a battery! Apple needs to fix this soon.....one of the greatest attributes about the MBP has always been its ability to last......not now! Bummer
