Jul 31, 2012 7:37 AM in response to ibillnby ibilln,Ok - for me - I flailed around, found Iitunes would not play anything incl. radio, tried google music, nothing. So - my machine. Output was stuck in some netherland btw internal spkrs and external bluetooth. Switched around a bit, all working now.
Strange thing is that nothing would play before output mechanism got unstuck. Well - prob. not your problem, but, fwiw.

Jul 31, 2012 9:30 AM in response to OneBigBearby denverfromjohns creek,Yeah, my iTuens Match stopped working on my mid 2011 Macbook Air. I've restarted, reset all connections. Every time I go to update iTunes Match it starts to 'gather information' and then stops.
Does anybody have a fix?

Aug 1, 2012 10:32 AM in response to OneBigBearby whitewater2,Lots of people are having this issue, me being one of them.
I had OS X Lion, have had iTunes Match since beta, never had a problem until I tried from Mountain Lion. Submitted bug report to Apple, waiting for response.

Did you have iTunes Match on LION previously? or just on Mountain Lion ?
I can access all my content from my iPad, AppleTV and iPhone, just my Mac keeps retrying. I can even re-download songs to my Mac.

I have this problem only after the installation of Mountain Lion.

Aug 1, 2012 11:39 AM in response to OneBigBearby whitewater2,Here is what I did after exhausting all means and tired of trying to fix itself. I think its a setting on Apple's end.
-submitted bug report to bugreport.apple.com , they gave me a bug report ticket number.
- After a day, they emailed me asking my AppleID - others reported something similiar happening where they had to reset their account on the Apple side.
- submitted support ticket to Apple Support, gave me support ticket number
- contacted Apple support (took about 25 min after explaining, and the tech stated "sounds like you tried everything I would have your try" with my ticket number, tech stated that it sounds like their servers are not performing correctly, going to advance it to iTunes support. After this call, I booted my machine, then I got an Itunes Match error, sign out and sign in again (first time for this error)
I believe my fix was the bugreport filing, as they actually got back to me and maybe reset my AppleID or something.
Here is the steps I recommend;
1.Sign out of store
2.Deauthorize computer
3.Close Itunes, Restart Itunes
4.Sign back in
5.Authorize computer
6.Turn On Itunes Match
Hopefully fixes you up, if not contact support to see if they can "reset" on their end as I see from around lauch of Match people had similiar type of issues.

Aug 1, 2012 4:53 PM in response to OneBigBearby OneBigBear,Now keep in mind that I know this happens when I see the "lightning" thingy on the iCloud icon next to the iTunes Library, just to clear things up, I guess.

Aug 1, 2012 6:05 PM in response to OneBigBearby whitewater2,I spoke to soon, lol. One time it started to upload my unmatched 140 songs, and then it stopped about half way through. Now I cant get it to complete the steps again.
Now back to Itunes support.
