Q: Can I use the Apple world travel adapter kit with non-Apple devices like a camera that charges via a USB port?

The iPad USB charger seems to work fine for my digital camera. I want to use the Apple travel adapter kit for all my devices (IPad & camera) Is there any reason why the USB port travel adapter port would not work for my camera if the travel adapter is converting the current down to 110?   Thanks!

Yes, provided you have a USB charger for them that works on 220 v service. The Travel Kit adaptors do not change voltage. Your Apple chargers are all auto-switching, but you will need to check if that's true for your non-Apple devices. Most likely it is, but you should verify.

It's possible, but you are running a risk of damaging the camera.

The travel adapter does NOT do that.
