I have been working on an edit in FCP7 using files I was given in .mov format. I am now realising that the footage is stretched out making the talent look much different. There are also black bars on both the top and bottom.

The quality also looks much worse. I know I must be doing something wrong with the settings, but have tried multiple things but can't figure it out.

Does anyone know how I can fix this? Also, can I fix this without re-editing all my files?
