Not sure what happened - I turned on my computer today and went to look at my emails online via Safari and nothing is loading.  I didn't upgrade to anything I am just not sure what has happened.  I have looked at some of the links provided in other comments and my system (Macbook Pro) doesnt show a disabled plug in folder or any such thing for me to drag into the current folder.  Any suggestions on how to bring safari back as my preferred browser?

PS I am not that IT minded so those IT people out there please explain in a way that is easy for me to understand - without being silly.

Thanks

MacBook Pro, Mac OS X (10.6.8)
