I just picked up my new iPad and they told me that their app store server is being worked on. Should be back up in a few hours or so. Hope that's true!

I also noticed that if I logged out, I had the same message about being unable to connect to the store. However, after clicking on an app to update it, it updated right away without asking me for my password again so it must be authenticating. Clearly a bug Apple need to fix.

So I called apple support and this guy told me I need to pay 59.00 or 99.00 dollars to have the invisible purchases fixed. And I found some where else that the servers are down. So I hope apple fixes this problem soon

It's clearly just a glitch, because you can still download the apps, you just can't see them. If you search for an app you already own in the store it will show the "download" link rather than its price and you can re-download it for free, so I don't see why they would be asking you for money.

The screen is grey I tap on the screen and I can download a app all my apps are invisible. other people are have the same problems with invisible apps and cannot connect to iTunes. Go to the app store at the bottom click on your apple id at the bottom of the screen logout don't leave the app store log back in you might get error cannot connect to iTunes . I'll be back .
