Airplay using multiple Airport expresses?

I have been unsuccessful trying to airplay music across multiple Airport Express devices.  My network is composed of (1) Airport Extreme and (3) Airport Expresses.  The Expresses are set to extend my wireless range.  One Airport is in the living room providing a wireless-N connection for my SmartHDTV, PS3, Xbox360 (using a 4-port network hub) and connected to a Bose 3-2-1 (using a 3.5mm audio cable).  The second Express is located in the kitchen and connected to a Moster BeatBox by Dr. Dre (using a 3.5mm audio cable).  The third express is in the garage connected to a 5.1 Logitech speaker set.  I would like to Airplay stream the same audio simultaneously to all 3 Airport Express devices.  Either I cannot figure out how to do it, or it's not possible.  I thought it might be possible once Mountain Lion came out, but it still limits me to stream audio to only one audio source and the video to my AppleTV from my Mac Mini.  I have not been able to locate an iOS app for my iPhone 4S(jailbroken) or iPad2.  Is there a way to do this?

Simultaneously Airplay stream one audio source across multiple Airport express devices?

Airplay across the network works fine when sending the audio to ONE Airport, but it would be nice to stream throughout the house.  Especially during parties!

AirPort Express 802.11n (1st Gen), OS X Mountain Lion

    HI,

I know you can do this from itunes by selecting multiple speakers from the lower right corner airplay icon.

Or with other apps than itunes you can use 3rd party app called Airfoil.

if somebody knows how to do this from ios device please let me know as well.

This might be a dumb thing to say and i don't mean anything bad.

Have you tried to scroll down the multiple speaker window or expanding it downwards.

I thought i had the same problem until i realised that the multiple speaker window was so small that it did not fit all my airplay devices. i accidentally scrolled down and presto! there they were.

ML does not show the scroll bar even there might be something to scroll to...

You can, whether it's on your iPhone or Mac, from iTunes or the Music app, just type on the AirPort logo, then check all the Airport you want the sound to go and "it just works"

I am trying to do the exact same thing however I am unsuccessful.

I have the new 2nd generation Airport Express (AE) downstairs for the Bose system and using the older 1st Gen AE upstairs in the bedroom.

The downstairs 2nd gen works fine streaming to the Bose and I've managed to get the 1st gen airport express to work fine with the speaker unit upstairs but I cannot get iTunes to play across both speakers at the the same time.

Furthermore, when using Airport Utilities I can only 'see' the downstairs Airport Express ...unless i take my MAcBook upstairs and connect to the upstairs AE.

I've tried setting up the upstairs AE both as a stand alone wifi network and to extend the range of the wifi zone .....what am I missing??

I've also check the IP Address and DNS numbers but I dont know enough about those figures to know what means what, but I can tell you that they are different.

P.S. I am aware of the "multiple' tab under the Airplays tab in iTunes, but no luck so far.

Any help greatly appreciated as my master plan to extend music throughout the house is failing so far!
