Ok. Thanks K T!
I get this on XCode 4:
Code Sign error: Provisioning profile 'Basic Calc Beta' specifies the Application Identifier 'BasicCalc' which doesn't match the current setting '9PQ7AQRKKE.BasicCalc'
How do I fix this? I did manage to run this on my iPhone 4, and the provisioning profile and the Beta 1.0 app installed themselves automatically so I can run it without connecting it to XCode before this happened. Once I clicked run and once the provisioning profile and the beta app installed on my phone, everything went well for v1.0. This error started to carry out everytime I archive or build the next version of the beta, v1.1.
Why does it say this when you create an app ID then
Ensure the above information you provided is correct.
Once you submit your request to create a Mac App ID, you will NOT be able to edit this App ID from your account. You will only be able to delete it.
Dunno - maybe because this thread is from 10 months back...and it's about iOS?
'iOS' as a topic here means the App Store/iTunes ...there is no change and app ids are still permanent.
Mac App IDs are for the Mac App Store and fall under dissimilar controls. iTunes store represents a legacy process and some things continue as they were first designed way back when music was the only item on the shelf.
