Safari Quit Unexpectedly.....

My system , imac Mac oxs version 10.6.2 has started to show the above error message when ever I try to open a web address, PLEASE HELP!!!

    First thing to do would be to update your system to the 10.6.8 level via the combo updater.   This often clears up problems like this.

    Good morning, jddins

     

    Try Safari > Preferences > Security.   Ensure Java is turned off by unchecking the box.   Do not turn off Javascript.

     

    Don't want to raise any discomfort but also read ...

    No need for the F-Secure tool if you have run all the updates recommended by Software Update. That will include an even better Apple tool for removing Flashback if you were infected. It will also insure that you have the latest Java and Security updates to protect you against all currently known OS X malware.

    Same web site each time?

     

    It's crashing so you need to copy and paste details of the crash report here so folks have some idea of what's going down.
