My retina screen cracked because it hit my charger. is it suppose to be this fragile? i expected better quality when i bought this laptop. it was such a small hit and it destroyed like 1/4 of the screen. how much would it cost to change the screen?

Should i even change it or would it be better to just buy a new PC thats like more durable -.-

Why doesn't the warranty cover these things... i feel like they should've made it more durable.

Warranty covers manufacturing defects and they classify this a user damage. So, yeah, you're outta luck. And to continue on that unfortunate path, it seems that ONLY Apple has spare Retina displays right now. So only the Geniuses at the Bar can give you an estimate of how hard your wallet will be hit.

I have the image retention problem with my LG screen. Initially, an Apple Store was going to replace the screen before deciding to just swap it out for a new unit. However, I saw the Apple support printout for the part that they were going to order, and including parts and labor a new Retina display installation was somewhere in the ballpark of $718.
