My ipad used to require a single tap but it changed to a double tap. Can I change it back to single tap? Also, the ipad does not scroll anymore. I tried to reset the ipad but it did not change. Tried to go into settings but that did not work either. How do I get it back to a single tap along with getting the scroll back.

Have you got VoiceOver 'on' i.e. do you need to tap to select and then double-tap to use/activate that field (and three fingers on the screen to scroll) ? If so then try triple-clicking the home button and see if that turns it off - if it does then you can change what a triple-click does via Settings > General > Accessibility > Triple-Click Home.

Otherwise see this page for how to turn it off : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4064

Thanks. The triple click worked. Earlier I couldn't scroll down under Settings>General>Accessibility to make any changes. But with the triple click its back to normal and I have changed the settings for Triple-click Home to off.

    Thanks for your help.
