I have a MBP with Snow Leopard that had a liquid spill and apparently shorted out a Shift key. As a result, the computer will start in Safeboot mode, requiring me to enter my password (with an external USB keyboard). I have tried to open the computer in Target mode by holding down the T key while starting up. Doing so on the external keyboard bypasses the safe boot start up, it won't go into Target mode. I am connected via firewire to a MCB running Lion. Do you have any suggestions or help to offer?
Thanks!
