Hi Matt,


I am having some font issues with EPSON FX 890

Its doesn't print well, I just gone throught the communnicty which can help me witht he privous links,


But my bad , the links are expaired. Any how i just want to give  you the clear picture. That i want to resolve my printing issue with the latest drivers.

Could you please help me in getting the latest drives (PPD) format for the Printer EPSON FX-890 9 Pin


I am very glad if you can help me in this.

    I do not have any information on a driver that would use the PPD you have.  The only drivers I have reference to for 9 pin Epson impact printers are:


    1.  The Epson 9 pin drivers that come with OS X 10.4

    2.  The Epson 9 pin high drivers

    3.  The Epson 9 pin mid drivers

    4.  The epson drivers


    The items 2, 3 and 4 require foomatic-rip and Ghostscript.

    I really have no information or experience with your printer.  What I can say, is that the PPD file you cite is not valid without a filter and probably a MIME type added to the printing system.
