Aug 16, 2012 9:58 AM in response to susie2012by Allan Eckert,Call your carrier and ask them to block the callers. It is the only way that really works. Your caller can block the call at their server and it never gets to your phone.
Most of the apps that claim to do it in fact don't.

Aug 16, 2012 9:57 AM in response to susie2012by varjak paw,The iPhone does not have the ability to block calls. What some people do is create a blank ringtone and assign that to the numbers you want to block. Then you won't hear the call come in. If you really want to block the number, you'll have to ask your cell carrier.
Regards.

Jul 23, 2015 2:34 PM in response to rano880by arnlov,On iPhone4,..Open "Phone".. tap "Recents" ...tap the "I" to the right of the callers number, scroll down and tap "Block this Caller". (The same can be done from "Contacts")

Jul 23, 2015 2:45 PM in response to susie2012by Thom_D,Go into Phone => Recents and locate the phone number you want to block. Tap the little information symbol on the right hand side of the contact (blue lower case i in a circle) and then scroll to the bottom of the information page for that number and tap the Block this Caller label.
You of course have to leave this number in your list of recent calls or it will remove the block.
