The Apple Support Communities are an international user to user technical support forum. As a man from Mexico, Spanish is my native tongue. I do not speak English very well, however, I do write in English with the aid of the Mac OS X spelling and grammar checks. I also live in a culture perhaps very very different from your own. When offering advice in the ASC, my comments are not meant to be anything more than helpful and certainly not to be taken as insults.
Yours has been a unique way of handling the situation, creating a new Apple ID for each country. Apple will not mege Apple IDs. So you will need to maintain the two separate accounts to retain and update the content of each one.
Other folks have kept the same Apple ID and changed the country inside of the account. This presents other issues. To use the iTunes/Mac App Store of a particular nation you need a bank card from a bank in that nation with a verifiable billing address for the bank card in that nation. Also, folks have had issues with the content of their account from the various country's stores appearing their account. Also, if an app that needs an update is not available in the country where they reside, it often can't be updated.'09 Mac mini, iPad 2, iPhone 4S, OS X Mountain Lion, iOS (5.1.1) Mac user since 1984
