TS3638 Sign in window does not appear in Mac App Store.

I have been trying to work this out for a week or so. I already tried verifying and repairing disk permissions, as well as deleting the file. Whenever I click the sign-in button (featured page or purchases page) nothing happens. I don't have FruitMenu or APE installed. There doesn't seem to be any help on Apple Support other than this: Mac App Store: Sign in sheet does not appear, or does not accept typed text. I have also tried downloading an app that I had previously purchased, to see if the log-in would come up, and nothing. Please Help!

    The Apple Support Communities are an international user to user technical support forum. As a man from Mexico, Spanish is my native tongue. I do not speak English very well, however, I do write in English with the aid of the Mac OS X spelling and grammar checks. I also live in a culture perhaps very very different from your own. When offering advice in the ASC, my comments are not meant to be anything more than helpful and certainly not to be taken as insults.


    Also nothing when you try to sign into your account with Sign in from the Store dropdown menu?

    Quit the App Store if it's open.


    Open System Preferences > Security & Privacy > General


    Click the gold padlock icon to make changes. You may be prompted for your admin password.


    Select:   Mac App Store and identified developers


    Click the lock icon.


    Relaunch the App Store.
