Nov 9, 2011 11:06 AM in response to roberson antequeraby elikness,http://web.me.com/pondini/Time_Machine/30.html
This website explains in more detail Local Backup and how it is implemented as a hidden snapshot file on the Mac. This is automatically enabled on Laptops with Mac OS X Lion installed, and is why it hasn't started affecting people until very recently.

Apr 3, 2012 8:01 PM in response to oliverweedonby NineAndEight,OMG this worked!!!! THANK YOU.
I spent 2 hours researching with no luck, then 1 hour on 2 calls to Apple Support with no luck.
Just found this thread by accident...but it works (and makes sense now).
-49 error has something to do with file permissions, so Time Machine must do something with the files during the video rendering to generate the error.

Aug 17, 2012 1:20 PM in response to rehabrajabby Sharkbait574,I exported a 2H03 file in 720p format with no issue while on OSX Leopard (file is 9,3gb). Then upgraded to Mountain Lion and now get Error 49. I've deleted the old event and created a new one and then got this error the first time. I shortenend the movie to 42min and can export successfully to 'Large' format but not HD. I would love to export to HD - any ideas??
