5or 6 times to flip the microswitch inside. Sound may be stuck in digital mode.
2. System Preference > Sound > Output
Make sure that Internal Speakers are selected and the box Mute is not checked.
3. Reset SMC. http://support.apple.com/kb/HT3964
Choose the method for:
"Resetting SMC on portables with a battery you should not remove on your own".

Sometimes a micrcoswitch gets stuck,, plug some different headphones GENTLTY in and out of the headphone jack. (as all jacks are not really he the same size).
Another trick is to take a Q tip and cut the tip off, and GENTLY place it in the the headphone jack and GENTLTY masssage the input to reset the output to analog from digital.
You can tell if it has been switched to digital by looking into the headphone jack and see a re light..
You can try a SMC reset:
Power down the machine, Power up the the machine, and press the keys , left side shift, control, option, before the star up chime, hold the keys till the gear stops spinning.
Try it know , if it does not not work, reoot.
Hope this helps
