Adding page numbers to printed documents
You can print the page number, date, and document title on each page of a TextEdit document.
To add page numbers to printed documents:
- Choose File > Print. If the Print dialog contains only two pop-up menus and some buttons across the bottom, click the disclosure triangle to the right of the Printer pop-up menu.
- Select “Print header and footer.”
On each page of your document, TextEdit prints a header and footer that include the page number, date, and title.
