Well, thanks for the effort - but, if I could find 'settings' or 'contact' within gmail using an iPad it would solve my problem, I have not been able to do so. The 'help' with gmail, on the ipad, does not apply either. Oh well, I haven't purchased my iPad yet, was going to do it next weekend, but unless one of the geek squad at Best Buy, where I would be purchasing it can show me it's going to be a wireless HP laptop/notebook.

Be assured that it is possible and don't let it be the determining factor as to whether or not you buy an iPad.
Everyone's needs are different and just be aware that an iPad is not a substitute for some of the things you would perform on a proper computer. If you already have such a computer then you can have the best of both worlds!
