Oh that was you? I thought that Apple noticed that I downloaded Firefox and sent the Cookie to me. Thank you. But you'd think that Apple WAS displaying as though they Had installed Cookie in preferences. Ya know the law calls that fraud.Apple's true colours are really starting to show through and they.re not very pretty. You realize how easy Macs are to hack I imagine. Not much to it apparently. I was hacked this time last year.
I can get Firefox with it alreadt installed though so it seems. Firefox 14.0.1Gee sure is funny how so many of the stuff Firefox has is now popping up in my Safari Preferences. About time.

Neville, am I not correct in assuming that Apple or the people who run the Support pages for them are stifling (for lack of other words that are more accurate to define the action taked by Apple) dissent to the conglomeration of Apple devices? I really don't care but do because of the way they are doing it. And Apple DOES belong to Apple. It's their baby and if it was mine I might just do whatever the **** I wanted too as well. After all they are not breaking ay laws doing what they are doing.
I like Cookie but it is a wee bit too late. I have already downloaded Firefox to replace Safari as my browser and search engine. You should se what I had to do to get iCam...an old APP for the Mac Apps page. There are too many apps there now. So slowly I am getting what I need from Apple. But too slow is no good either when the help comes from outside of Apple.
I just paid off my 2010 Toyota Corolla and am getting rid of it even if it IS the most reliable simply because they lied to me about the fuel comsuption. ANd I am replacing it with a 2013 diesel Golf. The German people do not allow the auto manufacturers to get away with such lying. And it DOes give me 60 - 61 MPG. I drive lots.

Here is something guys. It may explain sme of our problems: http://www.macupdate.com/app/mac/12402/saft
I found it by googling "What is Saft" and "What is SafariStand".
Two items that Safari Cookie has issues with in Mac OS's.
I may or may not get Safari Cookie. It's a freebie that asks for $10 - $15 donations.
Not sure if it's just a Unix widget or what. I might give it a try but I have to find out about the
extent of loosing the apps other abilities. For more info just google Safari Cookie.
