Friends, before I face further wrath of the rest of the users, let me admit my mistake on not checking the date and timestamps of these postings, before posting mine.
And I realized that the tone of my answer is not appropriate.
Hence , please kindly accept sincerest apologies. I admit my mistake. Yes these forums are really amazing and I rely on them too. I do not want to disturb the knowledge sharing mood and help the rest of the friends are offering , by my unnecessary comments.
Thanks to those who made me realize my mistake. Have a great day folks.

So I have a question for this: I folowed this procedure, but when I'm trying to import the IOS from IMovies in my laptop I receive a message that states that the IMovie version installed doen't supports IOS files, although I have the last version installed with all the updates... Any ideas, thoughts?

Paza2012, when you say "the latest version installed with all the updates"... that may still be iMovie '09 updated to it's latest version. (That's what I had and didn't realise there was a newer version, iMovie '11, which requires purchase from the App Store to upgrade, and is necessary for this feature of importing iOS movie projects.)
To check, if you haven't already, open iMovie, select "About iMovie" from the dropdown menu under iMovie heading, top left. It will say what version you have.

For starters I really appreciate your reply. When I said the latest version if because I really have the latest one: I have installed IMovie 11, version 9.0.7.
Any additional help will be really appreciated

Sorry Paza2012, can't think of anything else.
May I suggest posting a new question to the forums, (since this is tacked on to an older one) with all your details, including that it's iMovie 11 etc, and what you have done, to see if somebody comes forward to answer there.

Thanks. I did that before posting here...but not reply so far. Then I found this discussion and I gave it a try.
Thanks for the help!
