Aug 25, 2012 10:20 PM in response to tagood7by Drumersgrl,Have you tried signing out
Settings>Store>Sign out
Cut off the iPad, wait 10 seconds, turn it back on.
Change the date to 2022, go to the app store and try to update. After it tells you to check date and time. Go back and manually set the correct date and time.
Let me know if that still doesn't work. I will keep searching for another option just in case.

Aug 25, 2012 10:24 PM in response to tagood7by Drumersgrl,Also make sure you have no running apps in the background. Double click the home button. Sub screen will pop up, hold one of the icons til the red minus pops up and delete them all. Do that before you turn off the iPad

Aug 26, 2012 9:15 AM in response to boltondby TexMom,Date change worked for me as well. Makes no sense at all (I hadn't made any date changes previously, and my settings included automatic date and time, not manual), but I am so grateful that someone figured this out. Thanks!!!
