Q: Video Format Not Supported By the Ipod
Bought "City of God" off itunes and when I tried to sync to my iPod Classic 160 GB(late 2009) it gave me the following message: " 'city of god' not copied because the video format not supported by the ipod". Then i tried to see if i could create an ipod version under the advance tab, with the option not being available, then I searched my problem online and found nothing but programs that "convert video" to ipod for $50. So what does a man do next? Call Apple! I called Apple and after a 2 min conversation with the representitive said I have a late 2009 model which I already knew and that the late 2009 version doesn't support/play videoes, which is contradicting what Apple says: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1353#iPod_classic_160GB
And yes i've looked up my model to double check I have a late 2009, 160GB iPod, with Genius Mixes, and according to the Apple website supports video?
So I have two questions:
1. Why did the Apple representitive explicitly lie/have no idea what they were talking about?
2. Does anyone know how to fix this?
And yes my ipod Classic is up to date to version 2.0.4
Thank you all for your time.
