Q: I am unable to install OS Mountain Lion

I am unable to install OS Mountain Lion, when i try to install it says a recovery disk can not be created, visit apple.com/support/no-recovery, is there a way to fix where i can get Mountain Lion?

MacBook Pro, Mac OS X (10.6.8)

(macjack, I found I don't have permission when I tried to read the appleseed article.)

Bottom line: as macjack suggests, it looks like you're trying to install on a RAID or non-standardly partitioned disk. The article suggests a lot of Mountain Lion would work this way, but not everything.

yes i have Parallels, would that stop it from working? after i get this update for the recovery it could install?
