In the old iPhoto, I used to be able to take a frame from a video and make it into a still photo.  In the new iPhoto, I can't figure out how to do that.  When I try to edit the video, I get a message that says "To shorten a video, double-click it and choose Trim from the Action (gear) menu." but when I double click on the video, no Action/Gear menu appears.  I tried importing the video into iMovie in order to edit it and extract a still frame there, but every time I try to import, iMovie unexpecedly shuts down.  Can anyone help me turn a short video that I took with my iPhone into a couple of still photos?  Also, when I try to import the video directly from my iPhone into iMovie, iMove quits unexpectedly each time I try it.
