I used viber for a quite long time without any problems !
I have an iPhone 4 with iOS 5.1.1 (NO jailbreak) and viber version 184.108.40.2060.
I can see that the call is accepted but I can't hear anything ! The person who's receiving the call can hear me perfectly.
I just can hear the person who I'm calling when I'm using my speaker.
When I'm using my payed calls, I don't have any problems !
How can I solve this ?

Thanks for your report.
1. Do you remember if you installed a new application or service that started causing this issue?
2. Have you tested Viber on a few different WiFi networks? It might be that the network you're using is blocking Viber's ports.
Please make sure neither you nor the other side are connected to networks that might be blocking Viber (for example - a router running a firewall).
1. First, please try uninstalling and reinstalling Viber when connected to different a few WiFi networks. Does it work now?
2. Also, please make sure the following ports are enabled on your routers or firewalls:
TCP: 5242 + 4244
UDP: 5243 + 9785
(if you are not sure how to enable ports, contact your router manufacturer)

@Gaudios John -
As far as we know, Vodafone Greece is blocking Viber on their 3G network for users who did not purchase a special VoIP data plan. Unfortunately there is not much we can do to help :/
Try contacting Vodafone for more information.

The authorities in the UAE have decided to block Viber in the whole country, and that is why you are experiencing this issue. Unfortunately there is not much we can do to help
Try contacting the authorities and ask for the reason for this block.

Hi Viber team
Me and my good sister in Denmark love Viber, but today something happened.
My sister can't hear me in the ear piece at all!
Her phone does not ring.
Works both voice and ringing, if ear buds are used or if speaker is on.
Tested and tried:
We've tried almost everything.
Normal calling works flawlessly.
Reset, hard reset, delete and reinstall Viber on both phones.
My phone works great with other Viber users. My sister does not know any other users who has Viber, so she has not been able to test it.
Tested all hardware settings are good eg. max volume and not on silent.
Send screendumps to each other to ensure our setting are identical.
'Restore Viber Defaults'
Tested it on 3G and our WiFi.
Hope you can help out ...
Thanks for all ears

Hi Viber team
Super thanks for quick reply! It's much appreciated.
My sisters data are:
Operativ system 5.1.1 (9B206)
We've tried with the regular call app. No issue there.
Otherwise she doesn't have any calling apps installed.
Tomorrow we'll try Skype app.

I am currently using Apple Iphone 4S (5.1.1) last night i woke up in the middle of the night wondering if my android tablet would be able to support Viber as well so i installed Viber on it. I activated Viber using the same phone number so when i got onto Viber on my 4S it needed to be activated. All the data has been wiped out, when i checked Usuage, it still shows Documents & Data 10.1 MB. How do i get those messages to show in Viper?

Hi Viber Team
Viber on my sisters phone is working again.
We installed Skype. Tried to make call. Earpiece successfully working, tried Viber: Worked again.
Super fluke error. Wounder what had caused it.
Thanks for your attention.

This is great news!
There was a temporary problem with either the phone, or the connection with our server. We're glad to hear all works now - enjoy Viber, and feel free to let me know if you have further problems in the future
At this stage, one Viber number can be assigned with only one device simultaneously. When you try registering to Viber with the same number on a second device, the first device immediately deactivates, and its data (message history, Recents, etc.) is deleted.
What you can do, however, is register your second device with a different number: your home number, an old cellphone number, family's or friends.
