Safari 6 no longer fills in my password and library card number when I access  my local county library page.  nor does it ask me if I want to save that info when I fill it in manually.  I'm using Lion.

the page looks like this.  Is there some way  to correct this problem?   Thanks

Safari > Preferences > AutoFill > User names and passwords: check.

That box was already checked and the autofill info was already there.   This used to work in safari 5.  It is the only web page now that doesn'y autofill the Password and needed info.

I have deleted the info from the Keychain Access and from the Autofill "User names and Passwords"  Hoping to start freash again but Safari 6 will not prompt me to save the info.

Is there some other file in a folder somewhere I can delete or some solution to this problem.  I use 3 different Library accounts throughout the day several time and loading the numbers manually is very tedious.

    Thanks again.

AutoFill doesn't always work. It depends on how the web form is coded. It's quite possible for it to work in one version of Safari and not another. I've seen that myself.

Your choices are to use a different browser, which may or may not be able to autofill the form, or to use an external password manager. The one I use is called "PasswordWallet." It's not as convenient to use as autofill, but it works with any web page.

It has always worked in every version of Safari since I've been using the library website from 2005 till Safari 6.  Now it no longer works.
