Q: Enable an application to run in Safe Mode?

When booted into Safe Mode on my MacBook not all application will run.  Is it possible to enable an application to run while in Safe Boot Mode?

    Possibly yes and advisably NO. Applications that do not run in Safe Mode need other resources that are not meant to be available in this mode.

    Just to add to what Mark has said, Safe mode is really for troubleshooting a problem when your Mac cannot run properly in normal mode. You may already know this, but I thought i'd mention it in case you thought otherwise.

    I use an internet filter for family surfing safety, but discovered the filter does not operate when booted in safe mode (which isn't exactly a secret).  I understand the purpose of safe mode, but I'd still like to have family-safe surfing even when in safe mode.  I use the K9 Web Protection filter.  How can I get it to operate when in safe mode?
