TS1410 My ipod nano 3rd gen. is not recognized by my computer or itunes. Support page does not help.

If you have not already, disconnect the iPod and restart your Mac. Do this to Reset the iPod.
Once the Mac restarts, run iTunes and connect the iPod.
If that does not help, try putting the iPod into Disk Mode
then, connect it to the Mac running iTunes. It's possible that iTunes will tell you that you need to Restore the iPod.
