Before leaving the US yesterday, Viber was working perfectly. Since landing in France, I cannot get it to work, which is rather frustrating. I will be hopping from country to country while I am over here, and I was planning on using Viber as my primary means of communication with my family back in the states. I really like your interface and hope to figure out a way to use your app while I am here over the next three months. Please let me know of any tips you may have to troubleshoot this issue. Please describe the problem with more details, so we could try to assist. Which problem (or error message) do you see exactly?
Also, please specify whether you're trying to use Viber on 3G or WiFi. If it's WiFi, then please make sure to test it on a few different WiFi networks.

So, there is no way for me to recover the deleted message history? If i downloaded the messages_history.zip file how to i open it on a computer? that is the .zip file? those are not actually .zip file and couldn't be opened with Winzip.

Can you please introduce a function that allows me to disable the notification sounds for viber? I don't find it acceptable to have to disable all notification sounds on my phone just to stop viber from constantly shooting in my ear that I have a new message. I rather delete viber from my phone.

The exported message history file is a standard .zip file. Try downloading other archive applications like WinRAR, and the file should be opened normally.

I believe what mgrove is referring to is the fact that I do not want to put the entire phone on silent mode. However, I do want to turn off the sound alert on viber at night while I'm sleeping or while I'm at work or in meeting. Is there a way to turn off the sound alert (when new text messages are coming in) without having to turn the entire phone on silent mode? Thank you.

After I updated my Iphone 4s with iOs 6. The viber I guess got a problem. It states that "Viber may not have access to you contacts", which in fact I already enabled Viber to access my contacts. I cannot send messages now. What to do?

I've found a workaround: Open viber --> Keypad. Enter a fake phone number (i.e 00000), then press then press the button to add a new contact. Enter the new contact and save. Then it works!

I had viber for a few month now and it was great thank you. it was great when it was working because now for some resone1) the app shots down on me while I'm messaging or making a call. 2) the app no longer showing a contacts list. I have deleted the app and downloaded it againe and again, but same problem. please help me.I have iphone 4 about to get 5. viber version i have 188.8.131.52 and thank you.
