Sep 6, 2012 11:10 AM in response to BDAquaby Waden-Bernard,Hi BDAqua,
I just wanna get this right so I wanted to make it very clear,
First I'm going to install "pacifist" then after installing,
Second I'm going to insert the DVD from my MacBook which is the " Application Install DVD " is that right?
My Questions are:
What will I do next?
Is there specific thing that I have to extract/install?
Do I have to install/insert two DVD's?
I have two DVD which is 1) Application Install DVD and
2) Mac OS X Install DVD
I'm so sorry, As i told you I'm not really good at this.
Thanks so much,
Waden

Yes Install Pacifist, run it & choose to open the APP Install DVD, then use the search bar to search for booth like I did here for installer...
This assumes Photo Booth is on that Disc, & not say on an iLife Disc.

Sep 6, 2012 10:59 PM in response to BDAquaby Waden-Bernard,Hi BDAqua,
I tried to install Pacifist, THEN the Choices are:
-Open Package
-Open URL
-Open Apple Install Discs
-Search Receipts
so i choose " OPEN APPLE INSTALL DISC"
THEN I inserted one of the DVD, the "APPLICATION INSTALL DVD"
THEN this what came up in the
Package Contents
> Contents of Install Bundled Software
> Contents of InstallBundledSoftware.mpkg
> Contents of CPUHelpFiles.mpkg
> Contents of iWeb.pkg
> Contents of GarageBand.mpkg
> Contents of iDVD.mpkg
> Contents of iPhoto.mpkg
> Contents of iMovie.pkg
> Contents of AppleIntermediateCodec.pkg
> Contents of iLifeCookie.pkg
> Contents of iLifeSoundEffects_Loops.pkg
I open everything just to see the one you send me but I can not find it,
Do I have to insert Mac OS X Install DVD too?
The Application Install DVD was installed twice already,
Does that affect the memory of my Macbook?
Thanks again,
Waden

Sep 7, 2012 10:29 AM in response to Waden-Bernardby BDAqua,Oh, my pic was just an example, not what you'd be looking for, did you use the search bar for Photo Booth?
If not there search the Install Disc.
Installing twice won't use anymore space than once, as files are over written.
