Unfortunately, your printer does not show up in the "Prnter and Scanner Software" list (link under "Important" near the top). So Apple, which usually provides drivers and updates for printers, does not for your printer.
So you'll have to rely solely on Canon's website, if there's to be any hope of supporting your printer on Mountain Lion.

To restate, newer printers (but not necessarily brand new) are supported (drivers provided by) Apple.

Sep 7, 2012 9:49 PM in response to kt4everby PAHU,The Canon UFR2 v2.41 driver that supports your model works fine on 10.8. When it doesn't it usually has something to do with the setup or installation.
To check both, open Finder and navigate to Applications > Utilities and open System Information. In the left column select Printers. The right column will show information about the printer queue to the MF4150. Can you copy this and paste back here.
