Installed dualboot, so now I have ML and old Snow Leopard in my MBP. With snow leopard wifi works without problems, with ML wifi freezes...

Add me to the list as well. Had no issues whatsoever with Lion, but since upgrading to ML on my Macbook Pro I get constant disconnects from wifi. I've tried all the tips I've read online after Googling about this issue but nothing works for very long. I connect to Airport Extreme's at both home and work, both on the latest firmware. iPad and iPhone work fine. Mac Mini at home that is still on Lion works fine. Just the one system I upgraded to Mountain Lion having this issue.

Apple, get off your butts and fix this!

Mac Pro 2011, former Leopard 10.6.8, Mountain Lion upgraded

It works for WiFi, but as I prefer ethernet (since its a desktop), as soon as you plugin the ethernet cable, the internet is gone again which means you have to repeat the process in order to get the internet back to work.

Too bad as I need to use my computer next week on a large fair where most likely there is only ethernet based (fast) internet for large uploads available. I hope Apple can fix this soon indeed.

    Good luck everyone

Add me to the list as well....... Everything works well in ML except for the WiFi issue. It is really bothering me. I thought when Apple released the update to 10.8 (10.8.1) it would fix the problem, but no. Its still the same. Really, Apple you need to fix this like YESTERDAY!

    I can't believe it.

First of all : you think your 2000$ imac is damaged, then you try your other gadgets...

My iPhone works fine, my iPad2 works fine, my iMac27 goes out of track!

    This is ridiculous.

    Apple: what's going on?

How much time do you need to solve this?

How many posts do you need to solve this?

This is the Tim Cook's quality control era?

    Steve, we miss you !

Well, count me in... When I turn the computer on, I get maybe a couple of minutes worth of internet access. The speed then drops to zero (I have istat menu installed, so it's easy to follow). If I turn wifi off and back on again, a get another minute and so forth...

Why wasn't this solved in 10.8.1?

Does anyone have a fix for this? My 2011 iMac worked fine in Lion before the ML update, but now I get booted off wifi every 15 minutes or so, and I have to manually access Wifi Diagnostics to get it working again.

It can't be a hardware problem, because my wifi is stable when I boot the iMac into Windows 7 with Bootcamp.

It also can't be a router problem, since all my other devices (including a 2010 MBA on ML) work fine on the network.

Please help! My iMac is my primary work computer.

I'm having serious Wi-Fi issues as well. Wi-Fi disconnects regularly, and I have to turn wi-fi off and on to reconnect. Pain in the arse.

I think I replied to this question somewhere.... but here's my solution.  After a couple of years with no problems at all with Snow Leopard, I had endless breaks in Internet contact.  These were finally traced to our seven-year-old Netgear "g" type router.  Went out and spent about $55 for a new Netgear "n" type N300, and now have NO problems at all.  The word from my guru (our son) is that Mountain Lion may be better in many ways, but might have a tighter tolerance for programming variables - perhaps including router signals - and would "fail" more easily than the older Snow Leopard.   Anyhow, the new router solved the problem completely.  Good luck!

It's not  a router problem - unless Apple chose ML not to wotk with Airport. It's a bug - and it's a pain in the ***.

I had the same problem as all these posts.  My iPad, iPhone, Samsung wireless connection for my TV, MacBook Pro and printers all connected to my wifi just fine except my Mac Pro with Mountain Lion. It kept dropping every few seconds - VERY Frustrating.

The only thing that worked for me has been to go into my router settings and change the security from WEP to WPA2.  I had to enter in my wifi password for all my wireless devices but my wireless on my Mac Pro with Mountain Lion has stayed consistent for over two weeks now. No problems to complain about since. I hope that helps everyone.
