Ever since I installed Mountain Lion I get the following message each time I start up the computer or go to print anything.

Would you like to download and install software for “Canon iX6500 series”?

[Not Now] [Install]

Click the Install button and I get this message:

The software is currently unavailable.

You can check for the software later by choosing Software Update from the Apple menu.

Is there anyway of telling it not to bother me until the software is available? Or get the software it is looking for? It appears Mountain Lion will not allow me to download anything directly form Canon.

My printer is Canon Pixma iX6520.

iMac, OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.1)
