Q: Change country store

You move to the country,  establish an address,  get a credit card in that country.

You then go into itunes,  scroll to bottom and hit the link to change countries.

Should show the flag of the country and name.

Press it.

My iTunes Store is set to Australia. My temporary location is US. Since upgrading my iPad to iOS6 I am unable to update my apps. Any attest to update is met with !Your account is not valid in the US store!

I have the same problem, my iTunes Store was set to Indonesia, I have change the country to US but cannot find my old apps, the Store only shows the new apps after changing the country.  How do I get my old apps?

Also I have credit card from US but the system is not accepting the credit card.

It only shows the apps you downloaded since changing countries. To get them back you have to put it back to your 1st country

Go to the bottom of featured in App Store press your apple Id e.g someone@something.com and then view, enter your password and then select country then choose the country.

Easiest way, MUST use USB wire to connect to computer's iTune.

(1) Connect your iphone/ipad to computer

(2) Make sure you sign in  to iTune and first authorize the computer you are using [ie. Authorize This Computer].

(3) Click Store > View My AppID > Change Country or Origin

(4) Select the country you want, follow through all the instructions

This way should allow you successfully change the country default on your iphone/ipad account.

I don't know why it only works this way, but if connecting to computer's iTune will help you reduece frustrations, take some time to do it, it will save you hassles.

I have not been able to change the country setting in the Itunes store.

If I select "change country of region" I get this notification: "You have store credit balance; you must spend your balance before you can change stores".

My balance currently is EURO 0.18. I really do not know how to get writ of those 18 cents.

I have a credit cart for the country I want to change to, so this is not the problem. I also do not nessesarely want to spend those 18 cents, I just want to change the country settings.
