Hello:

iCal freezes me out and it shuts itself down whenever i am trying to get on. Any suggestions how to resolve this problem? Thanks!

    Which 10.6 version?

What do you mean  by "whenever i am trying to get on"?

Does iCal show nay errors in Console.app?

What is confusing me here is your use of terminology. When I use iCal, I just start it up or run it - I don't need to sign on or log on, nor do I need to provide a password. I assume that not only are you using iCal, but that one of your calendars is on a shared server. Is this correct? What server is it?

Let me clarify what he meant: You're right, Austin Kinsella1, when you start iCal, you just start it. However, we have our iCal synced with our google calendar accounts. For this reason, iCal tries to connect to the google account which fails and prompt the error "The server responded with an error.". In my case, after two prompts of the error and two times pressing ok, iCal crashes. "ok" is the only option the prompt provides me with.

    Do you know any help?

    Many thanks, Andre

    ok, found a workaround here:

    https://discussions.apple.com/message/10668606?messageID=10668606#10668606

Just deactivate Airlink in order to go to preferences and make adjustments.

ok, i think i found the answer here:  http://support.apple.com/kb/ts1627; OSX: Resetting Sync Services. iCal is at least working w/o crashing. I have not yet tried resyncing with my tablet.
