I purchased a Camera Connection kit for my Ipad. I connected the SDHC Chip from my camera to the adapter and then to Ipad as the directions indicate, but the Ipad will not read any of the picture from my SDHC Chip. I have tried two of them now to no avail.

How did the photos get onto your SD card, direct from the camera or have you copied them onto it from your computer ? If direct from the camera then is the kit firmly inserted into the iPad ? If you've copied them on from your computer then you need to create a DCIM directory off the root of the card, with the photos underneath it, and the photo filenames need to be exactly 8 characters long (no spaces) plus the file extension i.e. in a similar format as if a camera had created/written them.

You can still use the DCIM naming standard as I described, or just sync them to the iPad via your computer's iTunes : syncing photos.
