Sorry, I wasn't too clear with my question yesterday.

1) I have an iMac running OS X10.8.1 - Mountain Lion

2) When I open iCloud calendar the software is OS X 7.1, which is not the same as OS X 10.8.1

3) When I select a time for an appointment in iCloud calendar, it takes the time I put in, but when the event window closes

it shows up one hour earlier. If I go back and check the time I put into the event window, it's correct as I put it in.

4) I have gone to Safari Preferences Time & Date. The only time zone for Eastern Time is Eastern Starndard Time,

there is no Eastern Daylight Savings time selection!

I beleive this is the problem.

When will this problem be fixed, and when will iCloud work properly with OS X10.8.1

My iPhone, and my iPad have the correct times that I have entered!

iMac, OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.1)

iCal has a "Time Zone Support" option in the app preferences, if it is on try switching it off, or vice versa and see if that changes things. The Mac knows whether it needs to be daylight saving time or not based on the date, that's why it doesn't have the option in time settings.

There is also an automatic time zone setting based on location in System Prefernece/Date & Time/Time Zone.

If you have an iMac and a MacBook have you compared time settings in both system preferences and the calendar to confirm both computers are set up the same?
